This is an exceptional mid-century modern strand of authentic Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls are graduated and range from 4.00-8.00mm and have fantastic luster and light pink overtones. Very few light blemishes. Fantastic quality.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a leafy design and two pearls set in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 19.50 inch. From Japan 1940-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
