This is a lovely high quality semi-baroque Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl and sterling silver necklace. 

If features highly lustrous pearls with bright rosy overtones. They range from 6.25-6.75mm. Very slightly graduated in size from the clasp to the center. 

The clasp is a detailed modernist design with braided accents and a single pearl set in the middle. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling silver. From Japan 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
