Modernist Engraved Vintage Japanese Saltwater Akoya Cultured Pearl Brooch- Sterling Silver
This is a lovely mid-century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl burst cluster brooch.
The pearls are 6.25-6.75mm round. They have fantastic luster with bright rosy pink overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has brushed texture and engraving on the leaves. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling silver. It measures 1 7/8 inches long. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
