This is a fun pair of vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback dangle basket earrings.
The pearls measure 3.50-4.50mm. They have good luster with light pink overtones and white color. The majority are clustered in to a detailed basket setting.
They are not stamped but tested for solid sterling silver. The earrings measure 1 3/8 inch long. From Japan 1950's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
