This is a stunning modernist era Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch or pendant.
The pearl measures 7.00mm round. It has mirror like luster with bright rosy overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has a unique leafy design. It is stamped "SILVER", and older mark for sterling. It measures 1 7/8 inches long. From Japan 1950-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
