This is a stunning modernist era Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch or pendant.

The pearls measure 5.50-5.75mm round. They have mirror like luster with extremely bright rosy overtones.

It is made of solid sterling silver and has a unique design with delicate cutouts. It is stamped "SILVER". It measures 1 1/2 inches long. It can be worn as a pin or pendant. From Japan 1950-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
