This is a lovely modernist mid-century sterling silver & cream Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.

The pearl is 6.50mm round. It has great luster with bright rosy overtones. It is a light golden or cream color. 

The setting is made of solid silver and features a minimalist design. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling silver. It is from mid-Century Japan. Total length is 1 7/8 inch. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Back could use a professional polish.
