This is a lovely vintage Mikimoto ribbon Japanese saltwater saltwater cultured pearl & sterling silver brooch.
The pearls are 5.50mm round. They have fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones. They are a white/pink color.
It is made of solid sterling silver with a ribbon design. It is stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square for sterling silver. It measures 1 3/4 inches long. From Japan 1950's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
