This is a stunning high polished Mikimoto ribbon Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.

The pearls are 4.75-5.75mm round. They have great luster with light rosy overtones.

It is made of solid sterling silver. It is stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square for sterling silver. It measures 1 1/2 inches long.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
