This is a lovely authentic Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl drop pendant.
The pearl is 6.75mm round. It has fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones. Good quality.
It is done in solid 14K yellow gold. It is stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "K14". Pendant is simple and modernist in design. It measures 1 1/2inch. From 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Some patina on the back. Slight thinning on the top jump ring due to wear.
