This is an exceptionally rare authentic Mikimoto Japanese blue akoya saltwater cultured pearl lavaliere pendant and screwback earring set.
The lavaliere features a single 8.25mm pearl with great luster, a blue/gray body color and pink and green overtones. It is extremely rare for Mikimoto to use blue pearls and this is one of the best I've seen. Pearl is surrounded by milgrain and hand engraved details. It is stamped "S" for silver and "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto. Comes with a 16.50 inch Mikimoto chain which is also stamped.
Also included are a pair of matching Mikimoto blue akoya pearl earrings. They feature the same blue/gray pearls with rosy and green overtones. Each earring has a single 5.50mm pearl at the top and three dangling slightly baroque pearls ranging from 7.00-7.75mm. The earrings are stamped "SILVER" and "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto. The total drop is 1 1/8 inch.
