This is a retro mid-century modern Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl square tie tac.

The pearl is 6.75mm round. It has very good luster with rosy pink overtones. It is surrounded by a textured background and high polish boarder.

The entire piece is gold filled/plated and not precious metal. From mid-century.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
