This is a lovely mid-century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl cluster brooch.

The pearls are 5.00-7.00mm round. They have fantastic luster with sharp rosy pink overtones. They are graduated into a lovely cluster design.

It is made of solid sterling silver and is a retro almost atomic design. It is stamped "S" in a square which is an older mark for sterling silver. It measures 1 3/4 inches long. From Japan 1950's-1960's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
