This is a unique bright blue mid century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.

The pearl bright medium blue and measures 7.00mm round. It has great luster with light pink overtones. Very unique color.

The setting is made of brushed silver and has high polished bar accents. Stamped "SILVER" "850" which is a little less pure than sterling. Total length is 1 3/4 inch. From Japan 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Some patina, could use a professional polish if desired.
