This is a lovely pair of grape design Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback earrings by Maruwa.

The pearls are lustrous with bright pink overtones. They measure 4.00-5.25mm. They are set into hand engraved silver leaves with milgrain edging.

They are stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total size is 3/4 inch. Comes in the original velvet and silk case. It is signed "MARUWA PEARL CO" "CULTURED PEARL" "MADE IN JAPAN". It is in good condition but has some minor scuffs on the outside. From Japan 1950's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
