This is a lovely pair of butterfly style Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback earrings by Maruwa.

The pearls are lustrous with bright pink overtones. They measure 6.00mm each. They are stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. They have hand engraved details and milgrain edging. Total size is 3/4 inch.

Comes in the original hardshell plastic, velvet and silk case. It is signed "MARUWA PEARL CO" "CULTURED PEARL" "MADE IN JAPAN". It is in good condition but has some scuffs on the outside.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
