These are a pair of stunning blue Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback earrings by Maruwa Pearl.
The pearls are 9.00mm round. They are a baroque shape with blue/gray color. They have great luster with light rosy overtones.
They are made of solid sterling silver. Stamped "A SILVER". Details include hand engravings and milgrain leaves with beaded details. Comes in the original box which is in good condition. It is highly decorated with golden cranes. Box is signed "MARUWA PEARL CO" "CULTURED PEARLS" "MADE IN JAPAN".
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
