This is a stunning pair of Fuji Pearl Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screw back earrings. Fuji Pearl is an old brand that competed with Mikimoto until it went out of business in the 1950's.
The pearls are 2.75-5.00mm round. They have fantastic like luster with bright rosy overtones. They are surrounded by lovely engraved leaf details. They are stamped "FP" for Fuji Pearl and "SILVER" which is an older Japanese mark for sterling silver.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
