This is a vintage pair of large Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback engraved earrings.
The pearls measure 4.50-5.00mm. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones.
Pearls are set in a swirling design with hand engraving and milgrain. They are stamped "STERLING" for solid sterling silver. The earrings measure 1 1/4 inch long. From Japan 1950's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
