This is a large semi-baroque strand of authentic vintage Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls are semi-baroque in shape and range from 7.00-7.50mm. They have great luster and bright rosy pink overtones. Medium amount of natural blemishes, rings and wrinkles as is common with baroque pearls.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a brushed texture, engraving and a single pearl set in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 18 inch. From Japan 1940's-1970's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
