This is a lovely vintage mid-century Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl ribbon brooch.
It features seven pearls that measure from 7.50-7.75mm. They have good luster with bright rosy pink overtones.
It is in solid sterling silver and is stamped "SILVER 900" for just slightly less pure than sterling silver. It measures 2 1/2 inch across. From Japan 1950's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
