This is a vintage pair of Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback engraved leaf earrings.
The pearls measure 4.00-4.25mm. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones.
Pearls are set in a climbing leaf design with hand engraving and milgrain. They are stamped "STERLING" for solid sterling silver. From Japan 1950's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
