This is a lovely and quite large vintage graduated strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls range from 6.00-9.25mm and have good luster with light rose overtones. They are a cream/white color with some natural blemishes.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with an industrial/art deco design with hand engraving and milgrain. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 19.50 inch. From Japan 1930's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
