This necklace is a one-of-a-kind design from our Kumihimo Silk line which combines vintage pearls and handwoven silk from Japan. It features hand braided 100% natural sea blue silk and a vintage saltwater cultured akoya pearl at the center.
The silk is hand woven in Kanazawa Japan and is of the highest quality. This necklace features an 8-strand weave pattern called "Edo-uchi-himo". The silk measures 2mm.
It is set in solid contemporary sterling silver and is paired with a vintage 7.50mm Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl. It has good luster, rosy pink overtones and a light amount of blemishes.
Total length is 18 inches. Clasp and ends are stamped "925" for solid sterling silver. Different lengths, colors and pearls are available. Contact Us to inquire about a custom order.
