This bracelet is a one-of-a-kind design from our Kumihimo Silk line which combines vintage pearls and handwoven silk from Japan. It features double strands of hand braided 100% natural sea blue silk and a vintage saltwater cultured akoya pearl at the center.
The silk is hand woven in Kanazawa Japan and is of the highest quality. This bracelet features an 8-strand weave pattern called "Edo-uchi-himo". The silk cord is petite and measures 1mm.
It is set in solid contemporary sterling silver and is paired with a vintage 5.75mm Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl. It is white in color with good luster, bright pink overtones and minimal blemishes.
It is an adjustable length and will fit wrists up to 8 inch, it is meant to be worn tight. Length can be adjusted by gently pulling on the ends. The opening is about 2 1/2 inches and needs to be slipped over the hand, one size fits most. Additional lengths, colors and pearls are available. Contact Us to inquire about a custom order.
