This necklace is a one-of-a-kind design from our Kumihimo Silk line which combines vintage pearls and handwoven silk from Japan. It features hand braided 100% natural red vermillion silk and a vintage saltwater cultured akoya pearl at the center.
The silk is hand woven in Kanazawa Japan and is of the highest quality. This necklace features an 8-strand weave pattern called "Edo-uchi-himo". The silk cord is petite and measures 1mm.
It is set in solid contemporary 14K yellow gold and is paired with a vintage 8.00mm Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl. It has fantastic luster, bright rosy pink overtones and minimal blemishes.
