This necklace is a one-of-a-kind design from our Kumihimo Silk line which combines vintage pearls and handwoven silk from Japan. It features hand braided 100% natural light blue/gray silk and a vintage saltwater cultured akoya pearl at the center.
The silk is hand woven in Kanazawa Japan and is of the highest quality. This necklace features an 8-strand weave pattern called "Edo-uchi-himo". The silk measures 2mm.
It is set in solid contemporary 14K yellow gold and is paired with a vintage Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl pendant in a delicate leaf shape. The pearl measures 6.50mm. It has great luster, rosy pink overtones and minimal blemishes.
Total length is 18 inches. Clasp and end caps are stamped "585", pendant is stamped "14KP" for solid gold. Different lengths, colors and pearls are available. Contact Us to inquire about a custom order.
