This is a vintage baroque Japanese cultured saltwater akoya pearl double strand choker necklace.

The pearls measure 6.00-6.50mm with great luster and bright rosy overtones. They are very baroque with rings, wrinkles and tails. Medium amount of natural blemishes.

The clasp is solid sterling silver and features a single 5.00mm pearl surrounded by hand engraving and milgrain details. It has a side lock. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. It is from Japan 1940's-1960's. Total length is 15.50 & 16.00 inch.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
