This is a stunning modernist era Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl heart hat pin or stick pin.
The pearl measures 6.50mm and has lovely luster and rosy overtones. Lovely heart design in high polished metal.
It is made of solid sterling silver. It is stamped "S" in a square for sterling silver and has a designer mark. It measures 3 1/2inches long.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
