This is a stunning vintage designer strand by Harrods of London. It is made of Japanese saltwater akoya pearls and 9k yellow gold.
The pearls are very large and measure 9.00-9.50mm. They are round with good luster and bright rosy pink overtones. They have a moderate amount of blemishes but are quite nice for their size.
Clasp is in solid yellow gold. It is stamped "375" for 9K gold. It is also stamped "9" and "o" and something not legible. The "o" might be a date mark for 1949. The clasp has a side lock and safety chain with a spring ring clasp. Comes in the original red velvet box. Box is signed "Harrods London". The box is in very good condition. Total necklace length is 16 inches, it is a choker. From the 1940's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
