This is a stunning pair of Japanese blue akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback leaf earrings.
The pearls are 4.00-4.50mm round. They have mirror like luster with extremely bright rosy overtones and lovely blue color. They are set in solid sterling silver. You can tell they were handmade with hand engravings and hand stippling. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Leaf measures 1.00 Inch.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
