This is a stunning and unusual baroque Japanese blue akoya saltwater cultured pearl bypass ring.
The pearls are 9.00-10.00mm and a very baroque shape with a flat top. They have great luster with rosy overtones and are a medium/light blue/gray color. They are set into a gothic style setting with prominent prongs and a unique cathedral base.
It is stamped "STER" which is cut off due to an older sizing. US size 5. From the 1930's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
