This is a cute short strand of vintage Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls measure 6.25-6.50mm and are round. They have ok luster with medium rosy pink overtones. They have quite a few natural blemishes and some are brighter pink than others.
Clasp is in solid solid sterling and features a floral style It is stamped "STERLING". Total length is 15.75 inches. It is a choker. From Japan 1940's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung. Few scratches on the clasp.
