This is a stunning example of an unusual Japanese Blue akoya saltwater cultured pearl necklace.
The pearls are graduated and measure 6.00-7.50mm and are round with good luster and rosy overtones. The color ranges from a bright blue to gray to pinkish blue and green. Very unique range of colors. Medium amount of blemishes.
Clasp is filigree style and is quite detailed. Stamped "14K" for solid yellow gold. Stunning mid-century piece. Total length is 49 inches. It can be worn or wrapped various ways.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
