This is a lovely art deco graduated strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls range from 3.50-8.50mm and have great luster and rosy pink overtones. Very light natural blemishes. Round to semi-baroque shape.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a floral filigree design. It is stamped "STERLING" for sterling. Total length is 20.50 inch. From Japan 1930's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
