This is a stunning vintage strand of graduated Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.

The pearls range from 4.50-7.75mm and have fantastic luster, rosy pink overtones and very few blemishes. Good quality strand. 

The clasp is in solid sterling silver with hand engraving and milgrain designs. It also has a single 3.00mm pearl set in the center. It is stamped "S 950" for slightly more pure than solid sterling silver. Total length is 16.50 inch. From Japan 1930's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
