This is a lovely vintage mid-century Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl & sterling silver tie bar.
The pearl is 5.75mm round. It has great luster with light rosy overtones.
The setting is made of solid silver and features engraving and milgrain. Stamped "STERLING" for sterling silver. It is from mid-Century Japan. Total length is 1 3/8 inch.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
