This is an nouveau style vintage wreath brooch or pin made with Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearls.

The pearls are 4.75-6.00mm and are round. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones. They are a white/cream color.

It is made of solid sterling silver and has a swirling design of grape leaves with milgrain edging and hand engraving. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. From Japan 1940-1960's. It measures  1 1/2 inches long. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
