This is a lovely strand of vintage art deco Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls measure 5.50-5.75mm and round. They have good luster with rosy pink overtones and a light to medium amount of blemishes. Some pearls have better luster than others.
Clasp is in solid solid sterling and features hand engraving. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 18 inches. From Japan 1920's-1940's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
