This is a lovely pair of vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl, marcasite and silver art deco drop earrings.
The pearls measure 4.75mm and have good luster and rosy pink overtones. They are a cream/white color. Each earring has three black marcasites, non are missing or chipped.
They are stamped "925". The backs are new solid sterling butterfly backs. Wonderful light milgrain details on the edges. Total drop is 1 5/8 inch.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
