This is lovely vintage strand of semi-baroque Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls measure 7.00mm and have great luster with bright rosy pink overtones. Some light natural blemishes.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a single pearl in the center. It is a cherry blossom box design. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 36 inch. From Japan 1950s-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
