This is a quality vintage engraved sterling silver & Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.

The pearl is 5.50mm round. It has fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones. It is set on top of a white colored mother of pearl tablet.

The setting is made of solid silver. Stamped "STERLING" for sterling silver. It has fine hand engraved details and milgrain. Total length is 1 3/4 inch.  From Japan 1940's-1980's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Some noticeable scratches and could use a polish if desired.
