This is a lovely authentic vintage Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl heart pendant.
The pearls range from 4.75-6.75mm and have fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones.
They are set in solid sterling silver engraved design. Very nice quality detailing. Stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square which is an older mark for sterling. Total pendant length is 1 1/4 inch. The bottom portion moves freely. From Japan 1940's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
