This is a stunning vintage Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl & sterling silver three strand bracelet.
The pearls are lustrous with rosy pink overtones. They measure between 5.25-5.50mm round. Minimal amount of blemishes.
It is set in solid sterling silver. The clasp is a box style with detailed engraving, milgrain and a single 4.25mm pearl on the center. You open it by pinching the two tabs at the top and sliding, very secure and it also has an attached safety chain. Stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square for silver. Total length is 8 inch. From Japan 1930's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
