This is a simple vintage strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls range from 5.00-5.25mm and have good luster with light pink overtones. They have a few blemishes and some pearls have better luster than others.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with open basket work. It is stamped "STERLING" on the side. Total length is 21 inch. From mid-century.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
