This is a lovely quality strand of vintage petite Japanese saltwater akoya cultured seed pearls.
The pearls measure 3.00-3.50mm and round, they are very small. They have good luster with rosy pink overtones. Light amount of natural blemishes. They are a white/cream color.
Clasp is in solid solid sterling and features a milgrain edge and engraving. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling and "TP" for a designer, possibly Tasaki Pearls. Total length is 18.75 inches. From Japan 1930's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
