This is a lovely quality vintage strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls with a sterling silver clasp.
The pearls range from 6.25-6.50mm and have great luster, rosy pink overtones and a light amount of blemishes.
The clasp is in solid sterling silver and is a box style. It also has two pearls set in the center of an abstract design. It is stamped "SILVER" for solid sterling silver. Total length is 16.75 inch. From Japan 1940's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
