This is a very short vintage strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls range from 6.00-6.25mm and have very good luster, rosy pink overtones and very few blemishes.
The clasp is gold plate and is a solid sterling silver fishhook style. It also has a single pearl set in the center. It is stamped "STERLING" for solid sterling silver. Total length is 13.75 inch. It is a very tight mid-neck choker. Best for a petite pearson. From Japan 1920's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung. Most of the gold has worn off, but it has a nice patina mixed with the gold wash.
