This is a lovely rare mid-century modern Japanese blue akoya saltwater cultured pearl ring.
The pearl is 7.75mm round. It has great luster with rosy overtones and is a medium blue/gray color.
It is set in solid sterling silver. swirl design It is stamped "STER" for solid sterling silver. US size 8. From the 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
