This is a lovely authentic vintage Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl heart pendant.
The pearls range from 4.50-7.00mm and have fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones.
They are set in solid sterling silver. Stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square which is an older mark for sterling. Total pendant length is 1 3/8 inch. The bottom portion moves freely. From Japan 1930's-1970's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned
